Thailand Open: Loh-Chou Rematch on Cards

Loh Kean Yew and Chou Tien Chen could be headed for a quarterfinal showdown at TOYOTA Thailand Open 2025, just five days after their thrilling YONEX Taipei Open 2025 final.

Seeded fifth and third respectively, Loh and Chou are both in the top half of the draw in Bangkok. If they each win their opening two rounds, fans will be treated to the ninth instalment of their closely contested rivalry — currently tied at four wins apiece.

In Taipei, Loh drew level in their head-to-head with a hard-fought 21-14 15-21 22-20 victory, which also ended his 14-month title drought.

In the first round, Loh will face Jason Gunawan, while Chou takes on Japan’s Yushi Tanaka.
