Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti is poised to make tournament history at PRINCESS SIRIVANNAVARI Thailand Masters 2025 today.
The Indonesian will contest two title matches following wins in women’s and mixed doubles semifinals – with Lanny Tria Mayasari 21-16 21-17 over two-time defending champions Benyapa Aimsaard/Nuntakarn Aimsaard and with Dejan Ferdinansyah 13-21 21-10 21-15 over compatriots Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu.
The final opponents are local stars Laksika Kanlaha/Phataimas Muenwong and Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran. Puavaranukroh started the day with similar ambitions but fell 21-17 21-13 in the men’s doubles semis alongside Kittunupong Kedren to second seeds Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Daniel Marthin.
Should she succeed, Ramadhanti will become the first player to win two events at the same Thailand Masters. The closest anyone has come was Sapsiree Taerattanachai in 2017 but she was ultimately defeated in both finals.
Indonesia also have a finalist in women’s singles; Komang Ayu Cahya Dewi becoming the first from her country since 2019 champion Fitiriani to advance from the last four. Dewi defeated Thamonwan Nithiittikrai 21-17 7-21 21-9 and will take on Pornpawee Chochuwong for the crown.
