• Hosts Thailand have produced winners at all but one edition – 2020.
• They are the most successful nation with 11 titles.
• Thai players have also featured most frequently in finals, with 21 discipline appearances.
• There have been three same-nation finals – two involving China and one Thailand.
• Jason Teh is the lone player returning to defend his title.
• Last year’s women’s doubles champions Lanny Tria Mayasari and Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti both compete with new partners this time.
