Here are some fun facts about the Super 300 PRINCESS SIRIVANNAVARI Thailand Masters 2025.
Hosts Thailand and China are the joint most successful nations with nine titles each.
The Thais also have had the highest number of discipline representatives in finals – 18.
The three times a title match was between the same nations, it involved China (women’s singles in 2023, women’s doubles in 2016) and Thailand (women’s singles 2018).
None of the top seeds have won their event although Leo Rolly Carnando was men’s doubles champion in 2023 with previous partner Daniel Marthin.
Benyapa Aimsaard/Nuntakarn Aimsaard are the only players defending their category.
If successful, they will become the first in tournament history to win three in a row.
It will leave the Aimsaards with the most Thailand Masters triumphs.
Ng Ka Long Angus, Ratchanok Intanon, Goh V Shem and Sapsiree Taerattanachai are the other returning former winners.
Taerattanachai took her first victory in women’s doubles with the now-retired Puttita Supajirakul in 2019 before adding the mixed doubles title last year with Dechapol Puavaranukroh.
Taerattanachai also holds the record for most final appearances – five.
Standout Stat: Malaysian Goh makes up the only transnational pair at this edition, partnering Korean Choi Sol Gyu in men’s doubles.
