Following stoppage to play caused by roof leakage at the Axiata Arena on Tuesday 7 January, a number of PETRONAS Malaysia Open 2025 matches have been moved to Wednesday 8 January.

Li Shi Feng vs Priyanshu Rajawat, Pornpawee Chochuwong vs Anupama Upadhyaya, Aakarshi Kashyap vs Julie Dawall Jakobsen and Rasmus Kjaer/Frederik Sogaard vs Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani will all be played on Day 2 of competition.

Earlier today, play on Court 2 was stopped at 3.56pm local time during the second game of the women’s doubles match involving Jia Yi Fan/Zhang Shu Xian and Go Pei Kee/Teoh Mei Xing. The match resumed at 8pm on Court 3.

The halted men’s singles match on Court 3 between H.S. Prannoy and Brian Yang will also take place tomorrow.
